Job Description

A Project Applications Engineer is responsible for providing a high level of technical expertise to current and prospective SigmaTEK OEM partners, and Customers in the areas of training, installation, and technical sales support. This person must be customer focused; task/team oriented, and recognizes the need to deliver timely results quickly and efficiently. This position requires extensive travel.

Responsibilities

• Working with new products and customers during the early implantation phases.
• Defining requirements for enhancements
• Post development
• Machine requirements
• Creation of product videos
• Training manual documentation
• Software Reports
• Product Demonstrations Material
• Installation for Sales and AE
• Creation of new scripts
• Creation of new demo material

Requirements

• Working knowledge of press brakes and press brake tooling
• Mechanical and/or manufacturing engineering experience, with a focus in CAD/CAM, sheet metal fabrication, and CNC programming (familiarity with G-code)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Capable of working independently and meeting multiple deadlines
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Strong problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows required; SQL database experience is a plus
• Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software is a plus
• Associates Degree or higher preferred (Mechanical or Industrial)
